Turning on Turn at Kopernikus

Welcome – it’s the belated debut of Davinodwyer.com, where I’ll be posting my articles, ideas, links, anecdotes and photographs on a regular basis. Along the way, I’ll be dipping into my back catalogue of previous hits, namely articles written over the past few years that might become momentarily relevant once again.

As for the site’s title, Turn at Kopernikus, it was inspired by getting slightly lost in Friedrichshain, Berlin; an appreciation for the great astronomer’s contribution to learning and our understanding of the cosmos; and above all a fondness for the internal rhyme. It owes nothing to Kant’s “Copernican Turn”, in case you were wondering, but I might as well familiarise myself with the concept. Thanks to Sarah for the phrase, and for pretty much everything else too.
