There are so many great shop fronts, with terrific type, all over Hamburg that I’ve set up a Tumblr to chronicle the ones that catch my eye – the first entry just had to be Streit’s Kino down on Jungfernstieg, a wonderful old-style cinema with a great auditorium and a really cool cocktail lounge. Inevitably, it’s under threat of closure – old-fashioned cinemas are always under threat of closure.
